Asian Games 2026: India Men’s Compound Archery Team Wins Gold; Third Gold in Compound Archery

Nagoya: India continued its gold-winning run in archery at the Asian Games, with the men's compound team also clinching gold. The Indian women's team and mixed team had earlier won gold medals in the event.

The men's compound team defeated China in the final. The gold-winning Indian team comprised Kushal, Sahil Jadhav and Ganesh Mani.

The Indian women's compound team had earlier won gold with a record performance. The team comprising Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikita Taniparthi and Preetika Pradeep defeated China 234-228 in the final.

In the mixed compound event, Chikita Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav won gold after defeating South Korea's Jungyoon Park and Yoongee Choi in a shoot-off.
