Counselling for MBBS and BDS seats under the All India Quota will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while counselling for state quota seats will be carried out by the respective state authorities. Candidates have been advised to rely only on official websites, including mcc.nic.in and the respective state counselling portals, for admission-related information.
The NTA has also cautioned candidates against fraudulent calls or messages offering admission. It clarified that it does not contact candidates directly for admission-related matters. Any suspicious communication can be reported via email at [email protected] or by calling 011-40759000.
The examination process had been marked by controversy after the paper leak that led to the cancellation of the original test. The subsequent re-examination also failed to fully address candidates' concerns. Students reported difficulties downloading admit cards, while several candidates were assigned incorrect examination centres, triggering widespread criticism of the examination process.
