Mumbai Slab Collapse: Government of Maharashtra Fines Contractor Rs 6 Crore After Accident

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has fined a contractor Rs 6 crore following the death of one person after a concrete slab collapsed on a road that was under construction.
The incident occurred on Saturday at around 12:20 pm, when the concrete slab fell onto an autorickshaw and a car. Three people were injured in the accident.
Police have arrested five individuals, including the project director. The executive engineer has been suspended.
The police stated that the investigation is ongoing.
