M.A. Baby Criticises BJP's Labour Policies; Urges Nationwide Solidarity Against Corporate Agenda

New Delhi: On the fifth anniversary of the historic farmers' protest, M.A. Baby, CPI(M) General Secretary, strongly condemned the recent labour policies introduced by the BJP-led Union Government. In a post on X, Baby highlighted the nationwide protests led by workers, farmers, and agricultural labourers, who have joined forces following a joint call from the Central Trade Unions and Samyukt Kisan Morcha.
Criticising the unilateral notification of the four Labour Codes, M.A. Baby accused the government of fostering a “jungle raj” where corporate interests are prioritised at the expense of workers' rights. He emphasised that these policies undermine the rights of the working class and criminalise any form of resistance to the corporate-driven agenda.
M.A. Baby urged citizens to stand in solidarity with the workers, farmers, and agricultural labourers who are united in their struggle against the corporate-led ruling class. He called for collective action to protect the fundamental rights and welfare of working people across the nation.
