KSRTC Bus Accident in Karnataka Claims Lives of Driver and Conductor

Bengaluru: A KSRTC bus accident near Bidadi on the Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway in Karnataka claimed the lives of the driver and conductor on Friday morning. The accident occurred around 6.45 am, leaving several passengers injured.


The bus had started its journey from Kozhikode. The deceased have been identified as driver Bijilesh and conductor Arun.


According to preliminary information, the bus was carrying passengers when the driver lost control near Bidadi and the vehicle crashed into a roadside signboard. The impact caused the bus to overturn.

Several passengers sustained injuries in the accident, with four reportedly suffering serious injuries. Police personnel and local residents reached the spot and joined the rescue operation.


The bus was severely damaged in the crash. The injured passengers were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Rescue and other emergency operations are continuing at the accident site.
