Agniveer Recruitment 2026-27

New Delhi: The Indian Army has released a new notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026-27, inviting applications for more than 25,000 vacancies across the country. The main posts include Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Office Assistant/Store Keeper Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman (for 10th and 8th standard qualifications). Educational requirements vary by post, ranging from 8th, 10th, to 12th standard, with General Duty candidates needing at least 45% marks overall and 33% in each subject. The age limit is 17.5 to 21 years, with applicants required to be born between 1st June 2005 and 1st July 2009, and unmarried men and women are eligible for certain posts. The selection process includes an online common entrance exam (expected in June), a recruitment rally consisting of physical fitness and measurement tests, document verification, and a medical examination.
