G Sukumaran Nair Says West Bengal Governor Ananda Bose Was Never Denied Entry at Perunna

Kottayam: NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair has rejected the allegations made by West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose that he was denied entry to perform floral tribute at mannam samadhi. He stated that no such incident as described by Ananda Bose ever happened.
“Ananda Bose has never left Perunna without being allowed to enter after coming here. We doubt whether Ananda Bose is saying this with some other intention in mind. This looks like a mere stunt aimed at creating problems among people,” Sukumaran Nair said.
He further clarified that Ananda Bose has visited Perunna earlier and has offered floral tributes there. “If some random person comes at an inappropriate time, enters the premises, offers prayers, and leaves, who will take responsibility for maintaining order?” he asked.
“We are used to people making allegations against us—let them say what they want," Sukumaran Nair added.
