Migrant Worker Killed in Landslide Near Kozhikode Bypass

Kozhikode: A landslide near the Kozhikode Bypass claimed the life of a migrant worker on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Elanchar, a native of West Bengal. Two other migrant workers who were trapped under the mud were rescued and rushed to the hospital. Both have now stabilized after initially being in critical condition.

The incident occurred on Sunday morning at a construction site in Nellikode near the bypass. Following the landslide, fire and rescue services along with the police reached the spot promptly. Nearby residents were evacuated to safer locations as a precaution. Rescue operations are still underway.
