Thiruvananthapuram: Rainfall intensity is easing across Keralam, with no special rain warnings declared for any district today. The India Meteorological Department has said light to moderate rain is likely across the state, with isolated heavy showers possible in some places.

Over the next three hours, isolated light rain is expected in Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts. Although rainfall has reduced, winds may pick up, and residents in hilly and coastal areas are advised to exercise special caution.

Caution has also been advised in various coastal areas due to the likelihood of strong winds. Winds of 45 to 55 km/h, gusting up to 65 km/h at times, are forecast over the central west Arabian Sea and adjoining central east Arabian Sea, the north Arabian Sea, the southwest Arabian Sea, the Somalia and Oman coasts, and the north Gujarat coast.
