Onam Exams Begin in Keralam; Schools to Close for Holidays on August 21

Thiruvananthapuram: It is now examination time for students, with the first-term examinations beginning in schools across Keralam today. Examinations for the Lower Primary (LP) section will begin on Friday and conclude on August 20. Schools will close on August 21 after Onam celebrations.

However, an examination for Class 8 students in the high school section has been scheduled for August 21, creating uncertainty over the Onam celebrations. The Plus Two examination timetable has also been revised.

The Biology examination scheduled for August 18 and the Accountancy examination scheduled for August 20 will instead be conducted on the morning of August 14. Higher Secondary students will also begin their Onam vacation on August 21 after the examinations.
