Thiruvananthapuram: With just four days left for the Keralam assembly elections, campaigning has entered its final and most intense phase, with rallies and roadshows sweeping across the state. The mood in Left Democratic Front camps is one of confident anticipation, with the alliance banking on a decade of governance marked by welfare and development to secure a historic consecutive third victory.

Three days before the close of formal campaigning, voter sentiment is firmly in favour of continuing the Left's development and welfare agenda. Meetings addressed by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan have drawn massive crowds, reflecting strong ground-level enthusiasm in the ruling alliance's camp.

The overwhelming public participation in LDF rallies and the development-focused discourse dominating the campaign trail have dealt a significant blow to UDF's electoral hopes. Faced with the prospect of defeat, the UDF is now reported to be falling back on communal mobilisation in a bid to consolidate votes along religious and community lines.
