Thiruvananthapuram: The declaration of results for KEAM, the entrance examination for engineering and pharmacy courses, has been postponed. It had earlier been announced that Minister Roji M John would declare the results at 3 pm on Monday.
Following the CBSE's declaration of Plus Two re-evaluation results on Sunday night, several students and parents had demanded an extension of the deadline for submitting mark details online. The result announcement was rescheduled in response to this demand. Minister Roji M John said the government's aim is to ensure a fair opportunity for students across all categories.
The delay in declaring the results came after widespread complaints emerged over the CBSE's re-evaluation process. The deadline for uploading Plus Two marks had also been extended earlier.
