Trump's Name Removed From Kennedy Center Following Court Order

Washington DC: The name of US President Donald Trump has been removed from the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, America's national cultural centre, following a court order. The Trump administration had in December renamed the landmark venue the "Donald J Trump and John F Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts."
In May, District Judge Christopher Cooper, acting on a petition filed by Democratic House Representative Joyce Beatty, ruled that the addition of Trump's name was unlawful and ordered its removal. The name was taken down after a government appeal against the ruling was rejected by the appellate court.
Large crowds gathered outside the centre to witness the removal of Trump's name, with many raising slogans against the President.
