Riyadh: During Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to the White House, Saudi Arabia and the United States signed a series of key agreements on Tuesday.

The Crown Prince and US President Donald Trump formalised deals spanning defence, artificial intelligence, nuclear energy, critical minerals, Saudi investments, economic and financial cooperation, education and training, and vehicle safety standards.

In their meeting at the White House, both sides reviewed bilateral ties and discussed regional and international developments. They also explored ways to enhance security and stability at regional and global levels.

Earlier, in the Oval Office, Trump warmly welcomed the Crown Prince and announced that Saudi Arabia’s investments in the US would rise to nearly 1 trillion dollars, up from the 600-billion-dollar commitment Riyadh announced earlier this year.
