'No Kings' Rally Against Trump: Lakhs Take to the Streets in the U.S. and Europe

Washington: Massive protests have taken place in the U.S. and Europe against U.S. President Donald Trump's policies. "No Kings" rallies were held in various locations in opposition to the war in Iran, Trump's unjust actions, and his anti-immigration policies. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets.
The area became a major center of protests, with thousands gathering on the Capitol lawn in St. Paul, Minnesota. Protesters voiced their concerns over the Iran war, the rollback of transgender rights, and crackdowns on immigrants. The shooting deaths of federal agents Reni Goods and Alex Pretti also sparked protests.
The rally was attended by prominent figures from both the United States and Europe. Famous American singer Bruce Springsteen was the chief guest at the protest program. He sang "Minneapolis Streets" and criticized the government's stance. Actor Robert De Niro expressed solidarity with the rally through a video message.
Over 3,100 events were reported across all 50 U.S. states. Organisers expected approximately 9 million people to participate in the rallies on Saturday. In addition to cities like New York and San Diego, protests were also held in global cities such as London, Paris, and Rome. Protesters displayed American flags upside down (a symbol of distress) and raised signs that read "Down with the Crown, Clown."
