American Aircraft Carrier Catches Fire; Claims It Was Not an Enemy Attack

Washington: The USS Gerald R. Ford, an American aircraft carrier, caught fire. Two sailors were injured in the incident. The authorities have confirmed that the injuries are not life-threatening and the sailors have been provided with the necessary treatment. The cause of the fire is not related to combat or an enemy attack; it started in the laundry area aboard the ship, according to the US Naval Forces Central Command.
The fire has not affected the ship’s operational capabilities, and the fire is now fully under control. The ship's mission continues as planned. There has been no damage to the ship's propulsion plant, which is used for launching fighter jets. The engine section and other critical parts of the ship, which is currently operating in the Persian Gulf as part of the operation against Iran, have also remained undamaged. The USS Gerald R. Ford is the newest aircraft carrier in the United States and the largest in the world.
