New Delhi: Strict restrictions will continue in the national capital on Monday amid growing protests against the crackdown by central forces in Delhi. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the closure of six metro stations.

The restrictions will be in force from 6 am to 4 pm on Monday. The measures are being tightened despite a Supreme Court order that public movement must not be brought to a complete standstill. The restrictions come as the Opposition is scheduled to march to the Supreme Court on Monday.

The DMRC said interchange facilities would remain available at all six stations.

Entry restrictions have been imposed at Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Mandi House, Janpath and Barakhamba Road metro stations.
