N. Shaktan Resigns from Thiruvananthapuram DCC President Post

Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram DCC President N Shakthan has reportedly submitted resignation from his post. It has been reported that he submitted resignation asking to remove him from the post of Temporary DCC President.
According to reports, the KPCC hasn't yet accepted the resignation. Following his resignation, KPCC President Sunny Joseph has started talks with Shakthan to retract his resignation.
N. Shaktan had previously approached the party leadership with a request to be relieved from the post of temporary DCC President and to get back the position of KPCC Vice President. When Palode Ravi resigned, the responsibility was assigned to Shaktan for what was said to be just 10 days — but even after months, he has not been replaced. It was in this context that Shaktan contacted AICC General Secretary Deepa Dasmunshi and KPCC President Sunny Joseph.
Reports suggest that Shaktan is also interested in contesting the upcoming Assembly elections.
