Kumbhmela Viral Star Monalisa Bhosle Seeks Police Protection with Boyfriend in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Monalisa Bhosle, who beacme famous followin a viral video from Kumbhmela, sought protection at the Thampanoor Police Station along with her boyfriend Farman. She informed the police that she was being threatened by her father and needed safety.

The incident occurred after an argument with her father in Ernakulam, following which she traveled by train to Thiruvananthapuram. Monalisa expressed her wish to live with Farman but did not file an official complaint against her father.

Monalisa first gained global attention when a video of her selling Rudraksha beads at the Kumbh Mela went viral. Her sudden popularity drew huge crowds, forcing her father to send her back home. The viral fame subsequently opened doors for film opportunities.

She is set to make her film debut in The Diary of Manipur, which stars Amit Rao in the lead role.
