M V Govindan Leads CPI(M) Protest in Kollam Over KSU Attack on Veena George

Kollam: The CPI(M) organized a protest demonstration in Kollam against the attack on Health Minister Veena George by KSU members. The protest was led by CPI(M) State Secretary M V Govindan at Chinnakada, Kollam.

Prominent party leaders including CPI(M) Central Committee member Puthalath Dineshan, CPI(M) District Secretary-in-charge S Jayamohan, and State Committee members J Mercykuttyamma, M H Shariyar, and Chintha Jerome participated in the demonstration. A protest meeting was also held at Chinnakada as part of the event.

Health Minister Veena George was attacked by KSU activists at Kannur Railway Station on Wednesday evening, sustaining injuries to her neck and hand. She is currently undergoing treatment at Kannur District Hospital.
