Congress Leader and Former MLA K Achuthan Dies at 76

Palakkad: Congress leader and former MLA K Achuthan (76) has died. He had been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments. He died at a private hospital in Alathur.

Achuthan served as the MLA of Chittur from 1996 to 2016. He also served as the chairperson of Chittur-Thathamangalam Municipality from 1979 to 1996.
