A Group of Journalists Attempts to Insult the Chief Minister

Kollam: In the context of the legislative assembly elections, during a press conference held in Kozhikode, a group of journalists resorted to insulting the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. While responding to questions, the Chief Minister concluded the press conference and was leaving when the insults occurred. Some journalists were shouting that the Chief Minister was not answering all the questions and was only responding to certain ones.
In response, the Chief Minister clarified his stance after leaving the event. He stated that he had answered all the questions posed and would end the press conference if time ran out. He emphasised that it was not enough to have a question in mind; it had to be asked properly. The Chief Minister also asked whether such behavior had been witnessed anywhere else.
The insult attempt came after certain journalists deliberately asked unnecessary questions in an attempt to provoke the Chief Minister. After providing clear answers to these questions, the Chief Minister ended the press conference.
