Indian Nationals in Iran Advised to Leave Immediately

Tehran: Amid domestic protests and escalating war conditions, the Indian Embassy has urgently advised Indian citizens in Iran to leave the country. All Indian nationals, including students, pilgrims, businesspeople, and tourists, are recommended to depart using available flight services or other means of transportation.
It is essential to keep travel and immigration documents, such as passports and ID cards, safe. Citizens are also advised to stay away from areas of protest, follow local media closely, and remain vigilant. The Embassy has urged citizens to stay in constant contact with the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
Protests and clashes led by students against the government continue in Iranian universities. Additionally, increased U.S. military deployment in the region amid nuclear talks with the U.S. has raised concerns. This urgent advisory comes ahead of talks with the U.S. scheduled for February 26.
