Actor Sarath Kumar Voices Dissatisfaction Over BJP Failing to Deliver Promised Positions

Chennai: The dispute over positions is escalating within the Tamil Nadu BJP. Actor and BJP leader Sarath Kumar has publicly stated that he and his followers are not receiving due consideration within the party.

He alleged that the promises made when his party, All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, merged with the BJP in 2024 have not been fulfilled. Sarath Kumar expressed deep concern that the workers who have been with him for 30 years were not given their rightful place in the party.

He stated that of those who joined the BJP along with him, 251 people had requested state-level positions, but only a quarter of them were granted posts. He also highlighted that the workers are questioning how they are supposed to function within the party without any positions.

Sarath Kumar has conveyed his dissatisfaction to the state leadership and added that he will immediately take the matter up with the BJP’s state and national leadership. The fact that a prominent leader has openly expressed dissatisfaction over the elections is a significant headache for the BJP leadership.
