Youth Congress’ Brutality: Threw Soil into Children's Meals, Smashed Utensils

Karthikappally: In a shocking act of protest, Youth Congress workers threw soil into the midday meal prepared for schoolchildren, showing extreme cruelty. The incident occurred at Karthikappally Government UP School, where a section of the old school building had recently collapsed, triggering the protest. However, the protest escalated beyond limits.

The Youth Congress activists also threw away the vessels and chairs arranged for the noon meal and vandalised the kitchen and other school facilities.

On Monday morning, the workers arrived at the school and unleashed large-scale violence. The protest turned aggressive while students were still inside their classrooms. Teachers were assaulted, and school equipment was destroyed. Media personnel were also injured in the chaos. The attack was reportedly led by Youth Congress District President M P Praveen.

Just a day earlier, Youth Congress stirred controversy in Thiruvananthapuram’s Vithura, where a protest blocking an ambulance led to a patient’s death.
