Thiruvananthapuram: Congress MP Rajmohan Unnithan has issued a stern warning to Rahul Mamkootathil, asserting that he knows the full history of Mamkootathil’s activities and that any further cyber attacks will compel him to make details public. “I know everything about him, and there are numerous cases. Do not provoke me unnecessarily,” Unnithan said, adding that continued cyber harassment would leave him no choice but to hold a press conference and reveal all.

Unnithan accused Mankootathil of tarnishing the image of Congress for personal gain and of attempting to manipulate public opinion through the party’s mouthpiece, Veekshanam, by justifying his own actions. He warned that if Cyber Congress continued to target prominent personalities within the party to silence or intimidate them, he would publicly expose the matter.

Previously, Unnithan had alleged that Mamkootathil used cheap PR tactics to project himself as having more public influence than all senior Congress leaders combined. He noted that the party had acted appropriately against Mankootathil when required, and that Mankootathil alone had flouted that decision.

Meanwhile, Dr. P Sarin revealed a deliberate conspiracy within a Congress WhatsApp group to expose the identity of the woman who had filed a sexual harassment complaint against Mamkootathil. According to Sarin, the group, meant for managing Congress social media posts and comments, was misused to leak sensitive information. While the party claims no involvement, the connections have been reported to the police. Sarin highlighted the blind loyalty within the group, mocking its reliability and adding, “Kerala Police, this one’s for you.”

These revelations paint a troubling picture of Mamkootathil and his PR team’s manipulative tactics, exploiting party resources and social media to attack dissenters, undermine senior leaders, and manipulate public perception, actions that have not only scandalised the party internally but also betrayed the trust of the public.
