Kerala Bank Governing Committee: P Mohanan President; T V Rajesh Vice- President

Thiruvananthapuram: P Mohanan has been elected as the new President of the Kerala Bank governing committee. T V Rajesh has been elected as the Vice -President. The election to the Kerala Bank governing committee was held last Friday. The LDF received 1,020 votes in the election, while the UDF received 49 votes.
Candidates were drawn from 13 districts except Malappuram, along with a representative from an urban bank. Eight districts had seats in the general category, and Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod had seats reserved for women. Palakkad had a seat reserved for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes. CPI M state secretariat member M V Jayarajan announced the names of the office -bearers.
Other committee members: Binil Kumar (Pathanamthitta), P Ganakumar (Alappuzha), Adv. Jose Tom (Kottayam), Adv. V Salim (Ernakulam), M Balaji (Thrissur), P Gagarin (Wayanad), Adhin A Nair (Kollam), Adv. Sreeja S (Thiruvananthapuram), A M Mary (Kasaragod), M S Sreeja (Idukki), O V Swaminathan (Palakkad), T C Shibu (Urban Bank representative). The governing committee’s term is for five years.
