Beijing: China has expressed strong concern and condemnation over the joint military strikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran, urging an immediate halt to the attacks and a return to diplomacy.
In an official statement on February 28, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Beijing was “highly concerned” about the US and Israeli-led military campaign, emphasizing that Iran’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity must be respected. It called for the cessation of military action and warned against any further escalation of tensions that could spiral into a wider regional confrontation.
China’s government stressed the need for renewed dialogue and negotiation as the only viable path to peace and stability in the Middle East, urging all parties to work toward de-escalation. The statement reflected Beijing’s broader diplomatic stance that military force should not replace negotiated solutions to long-standing disputes.
