Sabarimala: The number of devotees who have had darshan at Sabarimala since the beginning of the Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season is approaching 10 lakhs. On Wednesday, the 11th day of the season, 72,385 devotees visited the temple as of 7 pm. Pilgrims are being allowed to proceed from Pampa to Sannidhanam based on the crowd situation at Sanidhanam, enabling smooth darshan without long waiting hours.

On Wednesday, the pilgrim queue extended up to Marakkoottam. Police, IRB, and RAF personnel ensured strict and comprehensive security throughout the queue complexes. Due to effective crowd management and controlled movement from Pampa, all pilgrims were able to have darshan.

So far, 9,85,085 pilgrims have visited Sabarimala during this Mandala season. On Tuesday alone, 1,01,237 devotees visited the temple.

Sabarimala’s revenue during the Mandala-Makaravilakku season has crossed 60 crore rupees. Aravana sales generated 30 crore rupees, while offerings brought in 15 crore rupees. Additional income from 'appam' sales, 'postal prasadam', various offerings, and other sources have seen an increase as well.
