20-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Dies by Suicide in Thrissur

Thrissur: A 20- year -old pregnant woman was found dead with burn injuries at her marital home in Varantharapilly, Thrissur. The deceased has been identified as Archana, wife of Mathumala resident Sharon.

Her body was discovered in the concrete backyard of the house on Thursday evening. Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been set inside the house, after which she attempted to escape. Sharona has been taken into police custody for questioning.

The couple had married six months ago in a love marriage. Reports indicate that no one else was present in the house at the time of the incident. Forensic experts conducted an examination on Thursday morning before the body was moved to the hospital.

Varantharapilly police have launched a detailed investigation into the case.
