M Swaraj Urges Eco-Friendly Actions Rooted in Equality and Respect

Nilambur: As the world observes Environment Day today, LDF Nilambur candidate and CPI M State Secretariat leader M Swaraj reminded everyone that all living beings and plant life on this earth deserve equal rights, a truth we often forget.
“It is our paramount duty to tread carefully upon this earth, ensuring that even the smallest scar is not inflicted upon our environment,” Swaraj stated, underlining the importance of responsible and mindful living.
This year’s Environment Day theme calls for a new environmental consciousness, one that protects the earth without inflicting harm, and treats all creatures, including trees and plants, with mutual respect and a spirit of equality. “Such a perspective represents a progressive shift in how we approach environmental awareness,” he said.
Swaraj also called upon all LDF workers to actively participate in Environment Day activities and carry that commitment forward through sustainable, non-intrusive practices in daily life. “The need of the hour is to ensure that our actions, both political and personal, never harm the environment. That’s a responsibility we must carry forward every single day,” he added.
