ASI Rescues Woman From Falling Under Moving Train at Tirur Station

Tirur: Police rescued a woman from a near-fatal accident while she was trying to board a moving train. As the train began to move, the woman attempted to board it by holding another person’s hand, leading to a dangerous situation. The CCTV footage showing the police officer’s remarkable rescue was shared on the official Kerala Police page, drawing widespread attention.
The incident took place at Tirur Railway Station. When the halted train began to move slowly, the woman started running toward it. Realizing the risk of an accident, Assistant Sub-Inspector Umeshan P. ran alongside her. As feared, the woman lost her grip and was about to fall between the train and the platform. Umeshan quickly pulled her back to safety on the platform.
Kerala Police congratulated ASI Umeshan P. for his timely and heroic intervention. At the end of the video, the police also reminded the public never to attempt boarding a moving train.
