Kochi : A covid-positive Aluva native died during hospitalisation at Govt Medical College in the city. The deceased has been identified as 75-year-old MD Devasi from Vattparambu, Chettkullam in Aluva.
A test on the sample taken post the demise, confirmed presence of the virus. Devasi suffered from severe diabetes and blood pressure. She was shifted to the Medical College’s ICU after being diagnosed with pneumonia at the District Hospital .
