Temperature in Delhi at 11.8°C; Chances of Wind, Air Quality in 'Poor' Category

New Delhi: On Saturday, in the country's capital, the lowest temperature recorded was 11.8°C, which is 2.4°C lower than the average temperature for this season. Strong winds are also forecasted during the daytime. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 24.8°C, which is 1.5°C higher than usual.


The relative humidity was recorded at 82% at 8:30 AM. The air quality was recorded in the “poor” category at 9:00 AM. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 214.


As per CPCB guidelines, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good,” 51 to 100 is “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 is “moderate,” 201 to 300 is “poor,” 301 to 400 is “very poor,” and 401 to 500 is “severe.”
