SFI Wins Historic Victory at DAV PG College in Dehradun

Dehradun: The Students' Federation of India (SFI) has registered a historic victory in the student union elections at DAV PG College in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. SFI candidate Shailendra Singh Negi was elected vice-president, marking the first victory for an SFI candidate at the college.

DAV PG College is the largest government college in Uttarakhand. The SFI contested only the vice-president's post in the election. Shailendra Singh Negi secured 2,253 votes, winning by a margin of 785 votes.

ABVP's Navdeep Rana won the president's post by a margin of only 96 votes. NSUI also contested the election.

A clash broke out between ABVP and NSUI workers during the counting of votes.
