Death Toll in Red Fort Blast Rises to 13 After Another Victim Dies

New Delhi: The death toll in the Red Fort blast earlier this week has risen to 13 after another injured person died at LNJP Hospital, officials said on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Bilal. According to Delhi Police, the information about his death was received from the hospital early Thursday morning. Officials said that the post-mortem will be carried out later in the day.

With Bilal’s death, the number of fatalities from the high-intensity explosion that occurred near the Red Fort on Monday evening has increased to 13. Several others injured in the incident are still undergoing treatment.
