Survivor in Rahul Mamkootathil Case Seeks Rahul Gandhi’s Intervention Over Cyber Abuse by Congress Workers

New Delhi: The survivor who filed a harassment complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil has submitted a complaint to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, seeking intervention against what she described as intense and continuous cyber abuse following the case.

In her complaint, the survivor alleged that Feni Nainan, a close associate of Rahul Mamkootathil, along with the Congress cyber wing, has been systematically targeting her on social media. She claimed that political influence is being used to threaten and intimidate her, and that her personal details have been deliberately circulated online, leading to sustained harassment.

Stating that she was left with no other option, the survivor said she was forced to approach the Congress leadership. She also alleged that the action taken by the party against Rahul Mamkootathil was purely symbolic and lacked seriousness.

According to the complaint, Feni Nainan and members of the Congress cyber wing are carrying out coordinated attacks in digital spaces, sending messages and comments that amount to blackmail, with the intention of mentally harassing and breaking her. She said the situation has reached a point where leading a normal life has become impossible.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, copies of the complaint have also been sent to AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, KPCC General Secretary Sunny Joseph, and All India Mahila Congress President Alka Lamba, among other senior party leaders.
