Young Man Brutally Beaten by Mob in Bihar Over Allegation of Being Bangladesh Native

Madhubani: In Madhubani, Bihar, a young man was brutally beaten by a mob after being falsely accused of being Bangladesh native. A video of the attack, in which the young man was assaulted for allegedly being a Bangladesh immigrant, went viral on social media, prompting police action. The incident took place in Chakda, under the jurisdiction of Rajnagar Police Station, Madhubani Police Superintendent Yogendra Kumar said.

The attackers were residents of Rajnagar, and the victim was a resident of Birpur in Supaul district. The police stated that a case has been registered under sections including attempted murder. Authorities also said the perpetrators would be arrested soon and warned that strict action would be taken against those spreading such videos.
