CBSE's Dismissive respons to John Brittas MP's Letter Draws Sharp Criticism

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Dr John Brittas has condemned what he described as CBSE's complete abdication of responsibility over the Class 12 examination results controversy, saying the board and the central government have once again demonstrated their utter disregard for the futures of lakhs of students.
Brittas said he had written two detailed letters to the Union Education Minister flagging serious concerns raised by students — including irregularities in the on-screen marking system, contradictions in evaluation, illegible answer sheets, and technical failures in the re-evaluation portal — all of which directly affect students' higher education prospects and career paths.
CBSE's official response, he said, was astonishing in its indifference. The board replied: "Thank you for sharing your concerns. Your suggestions/concerns have been noted for future consideration." Brittas pointed out that these are not matters for future consideration — they are issues affecting students whose dreams, admissions, and careers hang in the balance right now, this academic year. "If this is the official response a Member of Parliament receives when writing on behalf of lakhs of students, one can only imagine how the board treats complaints filed directly by students and parents," he said.
