Mumbai: The 27th All India Conference of the Federation of Medical and Sales Representatives Associations of India (FMRAI) concluded successfully in Mumbai in 15 February. The three day conference had over 800 delegates in attendance out of 1,17,000 members in total.

The conference kicked of with a flag hoisting ceremony by FMRAI President Ramesh Sundar. MSMRA President Narendra Singh introduced the event while AIOCD President Jagannath Appaji Shinde, who expressed his gratitude to the attendees and highlighted the significance of such conferences in strengthening the medical and sales representative's community in his welcome speech.

The Inauguration ceremony was graced by Renowned Mumbai surgeon and member of IMA Medical Ethics Committee Dr. Sanjay Nagral. Dr. Nagral shared valuable insights on the evolving healthcare landscape and emphasized the role of medical representatives in bridging the gap between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals.


Several eminent political leaders such as CPI M Polit Bureau members Tapan Sen, Dr. Ashok Dhawale, CITU All India Secretary R Karumalaian, CITU leader J S Majumdar, M H Shaikh, Dr. Vivek Monteiro, Sukumar Damle, Dr. Tapati Mukhopadhyay, Adv. Arvind Tapole enriched the conference by sharing their greetings.


FMRAI General Secretary Santanu Chatterjee Addressed the gathering regarding future goals aimed at the betterment of smooth functioning of the organisation. The event concluded by the vote of thanks by MSMRA General Secretary Shrikant Phopase who expressed his gratitude for the excellent participation of sales representatives and vibrant discussion that held in the three days conference. The conference also elected Krishnanand (President), Partha Rakshit (General Secretary), Kowsik Roy Choudhary (Treasurer) as the new key office bearers.
