CPI(M) Extends Greetings to Communist Party of China (CPC) on 105th Anniversary, Praises Development Achievements

New Delhi: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) has extended its greetings and congratulations to the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of the party’s 105th anniversary, commending its historical role in China’s transformation and its contribution to global development.

In its message, CPI(M) described the CPC’s journey over more than a century as one marked by vision, resilience, and dedication. It noted that since its founding in 1921, the CPC had led China through major political, social, and economic changes, helping the country overcome conditions of poverty, fragmentation, and underdevelopment.

The message highlighted China’s emergence as a major global force in economic development, technological advancement, and poverty reduction. According to CPI(M), the lifting of hundreds of millions of people out of poverty represents one of the most significant development achievements in modern history.

CPI(M) also acknowledged China’s model of socialist construction adapted to national conditions. The party stated that the experience of socialist development with Chinese characteristics demonstrates that countries can pursue their own paths toward prosperity, social justice and national rejuvenation.

Referring to the current international environment, the message said China’s emphasis on multilateralism, peaceful development, and South-South cooperation assumes greater importance amid geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty, and climate-related challenges.

The Indian communist party further stated that China’s support for a multipolar international order based on mutual respect and the principles of the United Nations Charter aligns with the aspirations of many countries seeking a more equitable global system.
