New Delhi: The founders of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which rose to prominence through social media, and the successful protests in Jantar Mantar have announced plans to expand the organisation nationally. The expansion will be structured along three zones — East, West and North — with a joint secretary and two national spokespersons assigned to each. The move is aimed at understanding grassroots issues, building protest capacity and coordinating youth across regions.

The CJP has also announced it will return to agitation, pointing out that the central government has not fulfilled any of the conditions it had accepted following Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the NEET exam irregularities.

Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke named Pinarayi Vijayan, M K Stalin and Arvind Kejriwal as the country's best Chief Ministers when asked about leaders who have delivered exemplary state governance. He said Keralam under Pinarayi Vijayan's leadership set a remarkable example in education and healthcare, and that Tamil Nadu's economy has progressed impressively under Stalin's stewardship. Kejriwal, he said, did commendable work in developing Delhi's schools and health sector.
