Gandhinagar: A bomb threat was made against the Gujarat Assembly complex. The threat was received via email just before the budget session proceedings began on Wednesday morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Piyush Vanda stated that the authorities received the message at 8:45 a.m., when the house was scheduled to meet at 9:00 a.m. The email claimed that a bomb had been planted in the assembly building.

Upon receiving the message, the authorities instructed the MLAs and staff to immediately leave the complex. The local police and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough inspection.
