Ayodhya Imposes Complete Ban on Non-Veg Food Delivery Within 15 km of Ram Temple

Ayodhya: The Ayodhya district administration has imposed a complete ban on the distribution of non-vegetarian food within a 15-kilometre radius of the Ram Temple. The order applies not only to hotels and restaurants but also to online food delivery companies.
Strict restrictions have been enforced in the temple surroundings and along the Panchakoshi Parikrama route. Although the sale of meat had already been prohibited in the area, the administration decided to impose stricter measures following complaints that some hotels and homestays were violating the ban.
Assistant Food Commissioner Manik Chandra Singh issued the order on Friday after authorities noticed tourists ordering non-vegetarian food through online delivery apps. Officials warned that strict legal action would be taken against hotel owners and food delivery companies found violating the directive.
The administration stated that the move is aimed at preserving the sanctity of areas surrounding the Ram Temple. The region already has an existing ban on liquor sales and advertisements.
