Anil Ambani Issued Another ED Summons; Directed to Appear on February 26

New Delhi: A new summons has been issued to Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a case related to the violation of foreign exchange regulations. The ED has asked him to appear for questioning on February 26th. This is not the first time Ambani has been questioned on this matter. The investigating agency has also requested that he produce documents concerning assets and financial transactions abroad.


Sources close to Ambani have indicated that he will cooperate with the investigation. The revelations in the "Pandora Papers" have intensified the probe against him. The Enforcement Directorate is examining whether there have been violations of foreign exchange regulations in various transactions involving the Reliance Group. Investigations by central agencies into prominent figures in the corporate sector have become a major topic of public discussion.
