Commemorating Uddharaju Ramam: Bhimavaram Meet Highlights Agrarian Challenges

Bhimavaram (Andhra Pradesh): A talk on current agrarian challenges was held in Bhimavaram on Thursday to mark the 31st death anniversary of former AIKS National President, freedom fighter and former MP Uddharaju Ramam. The event featured a keynote address by AIKS National President Dr. Ashok Dhawale.

The programme, organised by the Uddharaju Ramam Memorial Foundation, drew a large audience. Senior leaders of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha were present on the dais.

Uddharaju Ramam Memorial Foundation Hands Over 50,000 Rupees for New AIKS Central Office in Delhi

The commemoration began with floral tributes to the statue of Alluri Sitarama Raju and to the portraits of Uddharaju Ramam and Dr M S Swaminathan.

Foundation Chairperson Mantena Sitaram presided, while Foundation Secretary B Balaram and AIKS Andhra Pradesh State President V Krishnaiah also addressed the gathering.

During the event, an amount of 50,000 rupees was formally handed over to Ashok Dhawale for the construction of the new AIKS Central Office in Delhi.
