Yellow Alert in Kerala: Heavy Rain and Thunderstorm Warnings for Multiple Districts

Thiruvananthapuram: Rain has reached the state of Kerala. The Central Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for several districts. Today, the alert is for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki. Tomorrow, the alert will be in effect for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Idukki.

Isolated heavy rains are predicted in these areas. Heavy rainfall is defined as rainfall between 64.5 millimeters and 115.5 millimeters. In addition to rain, a thunderstorm warning has also been issued.
