Trojan Horse Within Congress: Sivankutty Exposes K C Venugopal’s BJP Links

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Minister V Sivankutty asserted that AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal has been actively working to weaken the Congress, describing him as a “Trojan horse” operating in favour of the BJP. Sivankutty stated that Venugopal intentionally surrendered a Rajya Sabha candidature, enabling the BJP to secure its majority in the Upper House — a move he said was part of a larger calculated strategy.

According to Sivankutty, Venugopal has consistently misdirected Rahul Gandhi and executed political strategies that have damaged Congress at every electoral level instead of strengthening it. He emphasised that these actions are not accidental but deliberate organisational sabotage.

Sivankutty also pointed out that while central agencies have aggressively targeted Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Venugopal — holding a sensitive organisational post — remains completely untouched. This, he said, clearly indicates coordination and mutual benefit between Venugopal and the BJP.

He further stated that Venugopal’s immediate mission is to assist in creating a base for BJP in Kerala. Sivankutty urged every Congress worker and leader to recognise the political danger, noting that Venugopal’s approach is effectively digging the grave of his own party.
