UDF Celebration Involving Obscene Acts and Humiliation of Women

Tiroor: Following their election victory, the UDF’s celebration in Purathur Angadi, Tiroor, Malappuram, involved obscene acts and the humiliation of women.

Kunjutti, a Congress activist dressed in female attire, along with some League workers, behaved in a manner that insulted womanhood. The incident was recorded on video and circulated on social media. The ‘celebration’ included acts that demeaned and humiliated women. After the video went viral, the UDF faced sharp criticism.

In the name of victory celebrations, League and Congress workers reportedly engaged in widespread misconduct. Intoxicated League workers allegedly entered the homes of the LDF’s female candidate and other women activists, making obscene remarks and issuing threats. Following the incident, two League workers were arrested by Tirur police.
