Kochi: A second person has been arrested in the case involving the circulation of morphed obscene images of teachers and students. Trikakkara police have taken into custody college student Saneesh, a native of Chengannur. The first arrest in the case was KSU leader Sreehari of Bharata Mata College, Trikakkara, and the latest action was taken based on Sreehari's statement. Saneesh is being questioned by police, who had earlier seized his mobile phone and laptop.

Questioning of Sreehari had yielded further details about the pornographic video production racket. Sreehari, a BBA (Logistics) student at Bharata Mata College and a member of the KSU media committee, was arrested last Thursday in connection with the production of morphed obscene videos.

As part of his role in the KSU media committee, Sreehari had photographed various college events and had also taken and shared photographs with female students and women teachers. These photographs were subsequently used to create obscene content using artificial intelligence. The morphed videos were then sent and circulated on social media platforms including Telegram and Instagram.
